Packing and getting ready to leave LA in two days.

Still reeling from the wonders of Yosemite … and did I mention the Giant Sequoias? Well, after getting lost due to a GPS system that was determined that we would never see a Sequoia tree, let alone the whole Sequoia National Park … finally we arrived and plunged ourselves into the most amazing grove of Sequoias. Including the World’s Oldest Tree … the General Sherman Sequoia. Some of these trees over 3,000 years old. And there I was proudly proclaiming that I had reached 70! The tress were not impressed. But I must admit that I was in awe (I rarely use the term awe-struck … but it’s very appropriate here). Humbling is another word.
